Saving money by DIY 240sx tutorials is what we are all about! Removing the door panel takes less then 5 minutes and can be done with very few tools. You will need a Flat head and Phillip screw driver, That’s All!
Tools Needed
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Flat Head Screwdriver
A flat had isn’t truly needed but does make it just a bit more easier popping the cover on the 1 screw towards the front of the door.
Screw Locations
Each arrow is pointing to a Phillips screw in the door, these are the ONLY screws holding the door on, besides the plastic clips around the edges.
Once all these screws are removed, simply grab the door panel from the bottom and give it one good pull, the clips will release the you can lift and pull up to remove the panel. This works for Nissan s13 coupe and hatch since they are the same doors, and may work for s14 and other Nissan. Removing the door panel allows access to the window regulator, and window motor. It is more likely to have a bad regulator then a bad window motor. Be sure to check the motor before deeming the motor the cause of your window issues.
