When a page uses a factory specification, the preferred source is manufacturer documentation or an official heritage/service publication. For the S13 and S14 chassis, Nissan Heritage Collection material is useful historical context; U.S.-market 240SX service information should still be used when an exact U.S. repair specification matters.

For donor engines, transmissions, electronic controls and aftermarket components, the exact donor year and part number matter. A family name such as “LS,” “K24,” “Coyote” or “RB25DET” is not precise enough to assume one harness, ECU, oil pan, sensor set or accessory layout. The site therefore separates family-level planning from exact service data.

How calculators are treated

Calculators expose their assumptions instead of hiding them. Injector and fuel-flow tools use selectable BSFC, duty-cycle and safety-margin inputs. Wheel and tire calculations are geometry calculations, not a promise that a wheel clears a particular coilover or fender. Horsepower planning tools are estimators, not dyno simulations.

Outputs should be sanity-checked against component-manufacturer data. Fuel pumps must be evaluated at actual pressure and voltage; injectors at the correct fuel and differential pressure; tires by their manufacturer dimensions; and driveline parts by the actual use case.

Accuracy and updates

Pages are reviewed for internal-link integrity, duplicate analytics/ad tags, metadata, calculator behavior and visible development placeholders before release. Technical corrections are prioritized over preserving old text. The site avoids publishing an exact claim when the underlying version, market or donor detail is unknown.
